Abstract

ABSTRACT

Virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, which are reality technologies, have become a strong link in tourism marketing. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) provide extensive information on the service or products they want to buy conversion, as well as the chance to try the service or products. This aim is to examine virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, to include the applications of these technologies in tourism and not to attract attention in marketing. In order to fulfill the relevant purpose, link data collection was used and the relevant literature and internet environment were used. In the descriptive market, the scanning method was followed as this resource. It has been used as a data source to clarify the subject. The aforementioned resources were scanned in April and May 2020. In this process, it has been found that the real technology used in the tourism sector exists and that these technologies serve different areas of use with different uses. However, based on the detected applications, it has been observed that it is in the current situation. The literature was used to draw other attention to other real applications as a marketing tool in tourism. The findings show that real reality services have become available in the provision and marketing of a tourism service, but only in some other places.
